My Ideal life priority list.

We all have an ideal life we can imagine, hope or wish for. Whether it's working at a particular company or traveling or having your own business.

As adults most of us didn't choose the life we are living currently, and we also know deep down inside we can change and live the life we have always wanted. But often the idea of change is scary, so we get stuck living a life we don’t feel fulfilled in.

There are so many things I want out of my ideal life, but this are the most important ones so far.

Morning routine will be different

The first thing I will be appreciative of living my ideal life is changing my morning routine. I get to choose what time I get out of bed. As a freelance writer, some days will probably be pretty early because there is so much on my to-do list. I might have to meet with a client or a lot of deadlines I need to meet that day. And other times of course it probably be late evening.

I have never been a morning person, and I am not about to change that either. I have tried to set an alarm 10, 15 or even 30 minutes earlier then when I need to be up, whether to run, write or just to have enough time in the morning.

I have also tried placing the alarm clock far away from my bedside, so I have to get out of bed in order to shut it off. None of it worked, so choosing when to get out of bed is kind of amazing.

The work I will be doing will be different

One of the reasons I hate waking up in the morning is having to be at work pretty early, which means having to be up even earlier. But now that I am a freelance writer, which I love so much, it will be that much easier to get out of bed.

I can see myself throwing the covers off and rolling out of bed with a smile on my face. Whether I'm going for a run or to do some writing or relax with my coffee or tea on the deck. When you love the work you do, it is that much easier to get out of bed to do it.

I have always loved wellness lifestyle. It could be eating right, exercising, cooking, and loving one another. Anything that has to do with personal development, getting better at something, changing a habit, or doing something drastic for the better.

Exercise is crucial for my mental health.

In my ideal life exercise is definitely on my priority list. Running and being active will become that much easier. For my mental health I have to be active, because when I am not, I can sense my mood changing over time.

I start to feel uncomfortable with my body because none of my clothes fit anymore, I start to not to care about my appearance.

And I don’t like the way those feeling feel, so the only way I could get rid of them is by being active and fitting back into my clothes.

This time around though, I will utilize the gym. Something I have given up on because I rarely go, and I was wasting my money.

What’s one thing you would absolutely do when you have your ideal life?
